In the early 1900's, Irwin Fry settled near the main gate of Fort Huachuca, and he named the street that ran in front of his house Fry Boulevard. Commercial buildings, hotels, banks, and shops have been built on Fry Boulevard. Now Highway 92 is another commercial area for the future city. Car dealerships, recreational parks, tennis courts, and the Mall at Sierra Vista are located on Highway 92, and other buildings are coming in. Now Sierra Vista is one of the fastest growing cities in Arizona.
